Finding your voice is about connecting with the way you express yourself. Some of this is innate and some of it is learned.
Whether we’re talking about a more literal voice, as in the way you write, speak, or sing, or a more expansive view of the voice, as in the way you do something, like play a sport, cook, or teach, the way you connect to the way you do something, is by doing it a lot.
Just because it’s your voice and no one else’s doesn’t mean there isn’t a journey of discovery involved. Perhaps the truest things are the ones we’re willing to put time and energy into.
Elements that resonate or that you’re drawn to will rise to the surface, and elements that don’t will fall away, but this only happens in the doing of the thing.
To find your voice, use it.
