No matter what, time will pass. The next day, month, and year will come.
So if time is going to pass anyway, why not take advantage of it?
A great way to do this is with consistency, which builds momentum. Take this blog for example. Today will be post #40. Forty days of writing down a thought each day.
If I had decided to wait to start, or was too precious about it, the time would have passed anyway, and I would have no posts and done zero writing.
Referring back to my previous post on “Taking Action as Experimentation“, this daily blog was a great way for me to learn more about if I really like writing, develop the discipline to write every day, and give myself evidence of how much I can accomplish through a routine and consistency.
After 40 days of experimenting, I’m trusting my gut to pause from posting daily to reflect and reassess how I want to be writing and sharing my writing moving forward.
Stay tuned for what’s next!
